Forget the "40–45 inches from the floor" rule — it is a myth that ignores your actual viewing position. The correct height is wherever the center of the screen meets your eye level when sitting in your normal watching position on your sofa. Sit down, relax, and look naturally at the wall — that is your ideal TV height.

In a bedroom the TV is almost always mounted higher — often 60–70 inches from the floor — because you watch while lying back against pillows. Your mattress height, pillow stack, and recline angle all affect the ideal position. We ask clients to lie in their usual watching position before we mark the wall.

For TVs larger than 65 inches, yes — we ask the client to help with the lift. Large TVs are heavy and awkward, and sharing the lift keeps the installation safe. If you cannot lift or prefer not to, we send two technicians for $120 extra — total $260. You just watch and enjoy the process.

Yes. Concrete wall installation is $140 flat rate. We use masonry drill bits and expanding plastic anchors — not Tapcon screws. Tapcon can work for fixed mounts but for full-motion mounts the anchors provide a much more secure hold over time. Concrete walls are common on the ground floor and exterior walls of Tampa Bay homes.

We never mount into drywall alone. Every TV is secured into the wood studs behind the drywall using a professional stud finder. In condos or offices with metal studs we use toggle bolt anchors. If drywall covers concrete we mount directly into the concrete. A TV mounted only into drywall without structural support will fall — it is never safe.
