Our rate is a flat $140 for any TV from 50 to 100 inches. The price does not change based on TV size. Tax is already included — there are no hidden fees. The only optional extra is a second technician for $120 if you prefer not to help lift a TV larger than 65 inches, bringing the total to $260.

Forget the "40–45 inches from the floor" rule — it is a myth that ignores your actual viewing position. The correct height is wherever the center of the screen meets your eye level when sitting in your normal watching position on your sofa. Sit down, relax, and look naturally at the wall — that is your ideal TV height.

In a bedroom the TV is almost always mounted higher — often 60–70 inches from the floor — because you watch while lying back against pillows. Your mattress height, pillow stack, and recline angle all affect the ideal position. We ask clients to lie in their usual watching position before we mark the wall.

For TVs larger than 65 inches, yes — we ask the client to help with the lift. Large TVs are heavy and awkward, and sharing the lift keeps the installation safe. If you cannot lift or prefer not to, we send two technicians for $120 extra — total $260. You just watch and enjoy the process.

Yes. Concrete wall installation is $140 flat rate. We use masonry drill bits and expanding plastic anchors — not Tapcon screws. Tapcon can work for fixed mounts but for full-motion mounts the anchors provide a much more secure hold over time. Concrete walls are common on the ground floor and exterior walls of Tampa Bay homes.

We never mount into drywall alone. Every TV is secured into the wood studs behind the drywall using a professional stud finder. In condos or offices with metal studs we use toggle bolt anchors. If drywall covers concrete we mount directly into the concrete. A TV mounted only into drywall without structural support will fall — it is never safe.

How High Should a TV Be Mounted? Optimal TV Height Depends on Your Eye Level

Optimal TV mounting height based on seated eye level and sofa position

Many articles claim a TV should always be mounted with the center of the screen 40–45 inches from the floor. That advice is too generic. The best TV mounting height depends on your eye level, your sofa height, your viewing distance, and the way you actually sit when watching.

There is no single perfect number for every room. The right TV height is the height that keeps the screen comfortable for your neck and natural for your eyes.

If you are taller than average, a 42-inch centerline can place the TV below your natural eye level. If you sit on a low couch or recline while watching, that same height may feel too high. That is why optimal TV height should always be based on the real viewing position inside your home.

In most living rooms, the center of the TV should align as closely as possible with your seated eye level. That is the simplest way to avoid mounting the TV too high.

Sit on your sofa exactly the way you normally watch TV. Relax fully. Lean back the way you would during a movie or game. Close your eyes for a moment, then open them naturally and look straight ahead at the wall.

Wherever your gaze lands first, that is where the center of your TV should be. This is the most practical way to find the best TV height for your room.

Your neck should stay in a neutral position while watching. You should not have to tilt your head upward to see the screen. If you are looking up at the TV, it is mounted too high, and neck discomfort can start within the first hour.

A professional installer should always account for sofa height, fireplace placement, wall layout, and your personal viewing angle before choosing the final mounting height.
